The American Red Cross of East Georgia is honored to be the National Philanthropy for the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity, and privileged to be supported by the chapter at UGA. Each spring, the brothers of the Theta Chi chapter support the American Red Cross by hosting Miss Sorority Row, a pageant in which representatives from each Panhellenic sorority at the University of Georgia compete to be crowned Miss Sorority Row. The pageant has been held annually since 2004, and all of the proceeds benefit the American Red Cross of East Georgia.
Last year, Delta Sigma Phi presented a check to the East Georgia chapter for $8,500, and this year they hope to raise close to $20,000. In the past, funds raised from this event have been instrumental in restoring and saving lives of families facing natural disasters, and the East Georgia chapter is extremely grateful for the continued support of the UGA Delta Sigma Phi fraternity.
Miss Sorority Row will be held on February 5th at 7:30 p.m. at the Hugh Hodgson School of Music Performing Arts Center. Tickets can be bought online or at the door for $8.00.
