March is Red Cross Month

Image

March is Red Cross Month is nearly here!  This ongoing tradition began in 1942, when President Franklin D. Roosevelt declared the month of March to be “Red Cross Month.”  This Red Cross Month of 2013, we would like for everyone to Join Us in celebration of the help and hope given through the American Red Cross!  Be on the lookout for exciting upcoming events, contests, and opportunities to share your personal stories of hope with the community.  Of course, what we do would not be possible without our invaluable donors and volunteers, so what better way to celebrate Red Cross Month than to get actively involved?  Please click the links below to make a personal investment in hope, or to investigate opportunities to volunteer with the East Georgia Chapter. Know that you’ll be making a significant contribution to the work we do for those in need throughout our fourteen East Georgia counties.  Join Us!
